Privacy Policy

This page is an outline, not a finished privacy policy. It needs a lawyer’s review before it should be treated as the policy of the business. It is written to be read against the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who I am

I’m Adam Hanley. Tack45 is my business, based in Forestville, Sydney NSW. Email: adam@tack45.com.au. An ABN will be added here once it is registered.

What information I collect

  • Contact details you send through an enquiry, a booking or the contact form.
  • Information you share during an engagement, including confidential discussions.
  • Basic website analytics, if I turn that on later. This site does not run an analytics tool today.

How I collect it

Directly from you, through this website and whatever booking tool I link, and through your systems during an engagement.

Why I collect it and how I use it

To reply to enquiries, to deliver the work we have agreed, to invoice, and to improve the website.

Client data during an engagement

Information I handle for a client is handled in line with the engagement agreement and the client’s instructions. I limit access to what the work needs.

Third-party services and AI providers

Client work can involve hosting, booking, email and AI model providers. I will tell you which categories apply to a build, and I check how each one handles data, before I build.

Overseas disclosure

Some AI services process data outside Australia. This marketing site does not send your enquiry to an AI model. On a client project, where data would be processed overseas, I say so up front and we decide what is appropriate. I will name countries or regions here once they are settled for the business.

Storage and security

I keep access to the minimum needed. How long information is kept, and the specific controls around it, will be set out in the finished policy and in each engagement agreement. I have not invented a retention period on this outline.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, I will update this page and say how to opt out.
