Find it. Build it. Run it.

Most small businesses don’t need an AI strategy document. They need someone to find the right jobs for AI, build systems that do them properly, get the team using them and keep them working. That’s what I do, in three parts. Training isn’t a separate add-on: it’s part of how I roll out everything I build.

Prices on this page are a guide.

Find

Find the work AI should be doing in your business.

Before building anything, I want to understand how your business actually runs. Not the org chart: the real day-to-day work, where the time goes and where things fall through the cracks.

What happens

  • A briefing with you, the owner, on your goals, frustrations and appetite for change
  • Time with the people who do the work, looking at the tasks, tools and data involved
  • A look at the systems you already pay for (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, your CRM, Shopify, booking or job management tools) and what they can already do
  • An honest view on any AI tools or vendors you’re already considering

What you get

  • A short, prioritised list of opportunities, each with the expected benefit, the build cost and the monthly running cost
  • A recommendation on what to build first, and what not to bother with
  • A plan that’s yours to keep, whether or not I build it

Optional team kick-off session

A hands-on 2-hour session for up to about six staff (in person or online), so your team sees what today’s AI tools can do on their own real tasks and helps spot opportunities. It’s also a good standalone starting point if you’re not ready for a review. From $1,500.

Investment: AI Opportunity Review from $1,500, fixed price.

Build

Systems that take real work off your team, built around how you already work.

I design, build and roll out AI agents and automations for small businesses. Every build starts with a business problem and ends with something measurable: hours saved, faster responses, fewer things falling through the cracks.

Voice agents that book, qualify and follow up

Not an answering machine with a nicer voice. A voice agent can answer calls, ask the right questions, qualify the enquiry, book an appointment into your calendar and follow up, then hand the details to the right person. Useful for businesses that miss calls, get lots of similar enquiries or spend hours on first-round screening.

Shopify AI

For online stores: writing and improving product descriptions and catalogue content, helping with customer service questions, and following up on abandoned carts and reviews, all in your brand’s voice.

Admin assistants on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace

An assistant that helps with the admin that fills your week: sorting and drafting replies in your inbox, chasing follow-ups, pulling together regular reports and preparing handovers between staff or shifts.

Connecting the tools you already use

Many small businesses run on several systems that don’t talk to each other, so people copy information between them by hand. I connect them, with AI where it helps, so information goes where it needs to.

How I approach every build

Problem first

What’s the job, who does it now, and what would better look like?

Your data

What information the system needs, where it lives and how it’s protected.

Integrations

It should work inside the tools your team already uses, not add another one.

Human review

A person checks the work wherever it matters, especially anything customer-facing or financial.

Running costs

You’ll know what it costs to run each month before we start.

Maintainability

Built to be understood, documented and looked after, not a black box.

Measurable benefit

We agree up front how we’ll know it’s working.

Training is part of the rollout

A system only helps if people use it. Every build includes hands-on training for the staff who’ll work with it, a short written guide, and a session where we build or adjust a simple agent together, so your team understands how these things work and what they can and can’t do. Sessions can run in person or online.

How builds are priced: fixed-price build sprints of two to four weeks, from $3,000. You know the price and the scope before I start.

Run

Keep it working, keep it improving, and have someone in your corner.

AI systems aren’t set-and-forget. The tools change, your business changes, and the best results come from small improvements over time. The Run options mean you’ve got an AI person on call without hiring one.

Care plan

A care plan typically includes:

  • Monitoring to make sure your agents and automations are running properly
  • Fixing problems when something breaks or a connected tool changes
  • Keeping an eye on running costs
  • Regular small improvements based on how the system is being used
  • Refresher training when you have new staff or a system changes
  • A short regular check-in on what’s working and what could be next
  • Updated documentation as things change

Every care plan has a written scope, so you know exactly what’s included and what would be extra.

Investment: from $300 a month.

The owner’s AI confidant

A sounding board who has sat in your chair.

Running a business can be lonely, and AI adds a new layer of noise: vendors pitching tools, staff trying things on their own, and plenty of opinions about what you should be doing. Sometimes you just want someone you trust, who understands both business and AI, to talk it through with.

This is a light monthly option for owners. It can be added to a care plan or taken on its own.

  • A scheduled one-on-one with you each month
  • Between-meeting check-ins by email or message for quick questions
  • An honest view on AI tools, vendors and quotes you’re considering, including when to say no
  • Help thinking through what to do next, what to leave alone and how it fits your plans for the business
  • Complete confidentiality

This is a sounding board and a second pair of eyes, not an open-ended retainer. Anything that turns into a build is quoted separately. The fee is priced separately.
